Fingon the grumpy zombie
Had a very broken head
And if you ever smelled him
You’d know for sure that he’s undead. All of the other Noldor
Used to scream and run away
Only his boyfriend Maedhros
Ever was convinced to stay. Then one sunny solstice day
Gothmog came to say

New Species of Dinosaur Named after Sauron
A piece of bone with a new characteristic prompts paleontologists to name a new species. Its name is Sauroniops pachytholus, the name of the genus a homage to the demonic villain of Lord of the Rings, and the species name coming from the dome on the skull fragment that was different enough to merit the naming of a new species. The dinosaur belongs to the family carcharodontosaurid, giant cousins of the Allosaurus.

A scale of the pain of a main character (AKA John Green, you could be worse)
1:Your main character lives happily ever after and gets whatever they wanted, even that invisible unicorn they vaguely mentioned in chapter 3 of the first book. What? Work hard for it? Naaaah. Ex. Bella Swan from Twilight. And every Disney princess.2:Your character goes through hell time and time again, but they're able to claw their way out of there with the help of their friends, and their own strength. They don't get everything they want, but they sure as hell are the best people you'll meet. They've changed, and for the better, but not without a few battle scars. (Edward Elric from the Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood series is the epitome of this category, which is why he's sorta awesome. But really, alot of main characters end up on this side of the scale, which is pretty good considering reader satisfaction)3:Your charming, wonderful character suffers and suffers and suffers and suffers...but eventually they find peace, and maybe even happiness. And the world appreciates your sacrifice (Well, at least your friends do.) The Supernatural Bros, (Do they call them that) Harry Potter, and Buffy Summers fit into this nice little category. It depends on how lenient with your definition of suffering. Writers are sadists after all :)4:Your main character is wonderful and smart and insightful yet deeply flawed, making you fall in love with them desperately and BAM! They're killed off, hulksmashing the reader's heart while they laugh at you and count your money. (If John Green and JK Rowling ever co-wrote a book, the emergency rooms would be filled with readers going under cardiac arrest)5:Your main character and his best friend is betrayed by one of his closest allies, kidnapped, tortured to the brink of death, and then killed by the only adult he ever trusted. (To be fair, it could be a mercy kill. Anthony Horowitz, I'm looking at you)I don't know what lesson there is to learn here. All I can say is that any time you curse the fate of your favorite character, remember it could always be worse? IDK(P.S My blog used to be ourintertwiningstars, but I changed my url) -

Aklo 101: Aklo Lesson 7: Verb Conjugation
Wow, my first post in a really long while. It’s been an ordeal, guys. Anyway, today I’d like to talk about verb conjugation. I know I kind of glossed over that in the past, but looking over the dictionary I’ve built along with the context that each word was given in, I feel like a real moron for…
